There’s no place on earth quite like home and I should know.

  I’ve traveled to over 30 different countries and driven all over the beautiful United States.

Digital marketing is my career choice because it gives me a sense of accomplishment every time I see a client succeed.

Plus I’m really good at it and it has allowed to me travel and explore this wonderful world that we all share. 

I love working in this field and I’m sure that once we are working together you will love the results that I produce for your company.

Digital Marketing Sucks!

I have owned businesses and ran digital marketing campaigns most of my adult life.

Over the years, I worked with several different so called “digital marketing experts” and unfortunately each and every time I was left with a sour taste in my mouth!

Oftentimes, it felt like I was just a number to these marketers.

It appeared that they would do almost no work, and have very little contact, only for me to write them a big fat check.

I have a proven track record of using digital marketing to build up businesses that I owned by spending my own marketing dollars.

I made the mistakes with my own companies so that you don’t have to!

Having industry knowledge is all good in theory but what is really valuable is actually having “boots on the ground” experience.

Time and time again I have figured out how to use various digital marketing channels to grow a business from the ground up and now I am ready to help you scale up your company profitability!

Unfortunately so many of the digital marketing “gurus” out there are total scammers.

They get you to sign up for their service (or even worse their class) and then they don’t deliver.

This is absolutely freekin’ ridiculous and it really pisses me off!

I thought, “There has to be a happy medium!”

“It would be nice to be able to find an actual digital marketing expert who cares about their clients and spends their client’s marketing dollars as if they were their own.”

A Brief History of My Life

I was born in Tucson, Arizona and raised in a small tight-knit community in Northern Arizona.

I entered the work force when I was 13 and haven’t looked back since. 

I started my first business when I was 19.  Unfortunately, that business didn’t turn a profit but I learned many valuable lessons that helped me launch and run my second business.

My second company was a big hit.  It grew from an operation based in the garage to a multi-location regional powerhouse in less than 5 years.

The Arizona Republic featured my company on the front page of the business section and syndicated it to all of the local papers in Arizona. (You can read that article here.)

I sold that company shortly after the publication and founded another company in a completely different industry. 

Using the skills that I had developed up to this point I was able to grow this new company into a successful well-known local service business in a matter of less than 3 years.

Later, I sold that company too, and started to search for was to become the next chapter in my life. 

This soul searching led me to becoming a digital marketing consultant and eventually founding the JCan & Co. Agency.

What are the most important skills for a digital marketer to possess? 

Many would say that being a web developer or a graphic design expert is number one, but many people are wrong.

By far the most important skill is:

An in-depth understanding of ROI strategies and the knowledge of how to implement a successful marketing plan that will provide a positive ROAS (return on ad spend) bringing in revenue and profit to the client.

Over the course of the last decade, and running two successful companies, I learned the ins and outs of marketing and just how important it is to see a return on your digital marketing efforts.

I have run both digital and traditional marketing campaigns with great success and know how to build a campaign that will keep your customers engaged. You can trust me to market your business and buy ads on your behalf to the best of my abilities.

I’m a Real Person, not Just Some Marketing Drone.

In my free time I love to spend time with my family, who are very dear to me.  I enjoy traveling, both domestically and internationally.  The longest flight that I have ever flown on was 16 hours – and I loved every minute of it.

When I’m not traveling or socializing with my family and friends, I find a lot solace in the open road. I am an avid motorcyclist and go riding every chance that I get.

I also find pleasure in nature; hiking, camping, and sport shooting are some of my favorite pastimes.  More than anything I enjoy the company of other people.  There is nothing better than meeting new people and learning all about the things that are important to them.
